Profile

I began my career as a print designer in the late 90’s. In 2000, I jumped at the opportunity to work as a creative consultant for an Internet start-up in Silicon Alley. That experience helped fuel my interest for digital media and its potential to change the way we live our lives. Open source and social media have given everyday individuals the ability to innovate, be creative and make wiser decisions. I embrace this and support its growth as we continue to fade the lines between our online and offline worlds.

In 2006, I joined R/GA—the award winning Digital Agency in New York. During my three years there, I had the opportunity to work as an Art Director with many talented designers, copywriters and developers as well as a number of great clients including Johnson & Johnson and Verizon. “At R/GA Jorge and I worked closely together on a number of high-profile, high-traffic site design initiatives, myself as the Interaction Design lead, Jorge as Art Director. In addition to having a great visual design sensibility, he brought a discipline and logic to his design approach that pushed my teams work to a stronger place.” —Cena Crane, Interactive Design Director, R/GA
