I believe in pairing user-focused design and technology as principal ingredients in what I create.

In 1999, I was invited to join a startup to collaborate with a group of smart tech geeks and determined entrepreneurs. The world wide web was a fairly new medium to me and I was excited! I immediately fell in love with ‘digital’ and knew this is where I belonged.

Despite all the cool solutions we developed, like geo-location offers sent right to your phone, (before the days of smart-phones), we ended up falling victims to bad timing and lack of funding.

The years that followed were spent broadening my creative skills at design shops and top advertising agencies including the award-winning digital agency, R/GA in New York. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege to learn and work along side some of the best, for many well known brands like Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Toshiba, Nokia and Pfizer.

Recently, my interest in wanting to fix something I felt needed improvement has led me to the Silicon Alley startup community once again. The experience so far has been incredible. Three of my favorite words today: persistence, resourcefulness and patience.
